Member Welfare

BGS Swimming has taken a proactive approach to ensure the security of all swimmers. All coaches, team managers and key staff are required to complete the “Working with Children” form and the Club uses the Prohibited Persons Declaration form. We also require staff complete an “Acceptable Behaviour Policy” that includes the appropriate use of mobile phones and cameras as well as the appropriate use of online mediums, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube.

Mr Matthew Logan is the Master in Charge of Swimming and the BGS Swimming Club’s Grievance Officer. If a swimmer, parent, coach or official feel that they have been treated in any way that does not meet with the Member Welfare or Child Welfare policies, they are encouraged to contact Matt.
